Hey again.
Look, I know maybe two comments for a same post are exaggerated, but I must say that I read a big part of your diary (out of curiosity, interest, and free time) and, well, guess I felt pretty identified with many of the posts. Especially The Broken Hearted Diaries and The Character Sketch. It kinda gave me the impression I had this mirror here. You're just so right. So, I'm terribly tempted to comment on my so-called-love-life (Death?) till now.
Failed Romance #1: Somewhat precocious, when I was 13 going on 14 I thought I knew what "perfect" was. So, I just tried. I was so sure I would win! The result? Now I have a very good friend who is with another girl. A girl who knew what "imperfect" was.
Hurt level: Once unbearable, now it stings sometimes.
Failed Crush #1: He was very kind to me. But I guess we both knew it was nothing.
Failed Crush #2: Man, I loved the novelesque idea. But it was just an idea.
Failed Crush #3: I liked him because he was strange. But he liked nobody.
Failed Crush #4: He was too gorgeous and too punk to hang out with me.
Failed Crush #5: I kinda liked him. The it turned out he kinda liked me. Then, we stopped seeing each other. Guess I'll never know.
Failed Romance #2: Hate to say you told me so. Hate to say EVERYBODY told me so. But I just said "OK" and jumped into the abyss... or even better: I just said "OK" and wandered out on firm land, despite Tim Burton. Oh well, no Anchor Babies made or harmed during the making of this life. Not even close.
Hurt level: I hate it because it's changing. One day, you could kick the wound and nothing happens. Another day, it could be bleeding.
And finally...
???: He's damn cute, but, as Lou Reed says in his Velvet Underground's "Heroin": "I guess that I just don't know." The conclusion is: "Only Time Will Tell". And sorry about that Asia quote.
See ya girl.
